Irwin’s bakery was formed in 1912, starting with a family baking fresh bread and a horse and cart delivery service. Over 100 years on, the company continues to grow, exporting their breads across the UK and Ireland, while staying true to its traditional family values and is now Northern Ireland’s largest independent bakery. Famous for its Nutty Krust batch bread, the bakery specialises in traditional Irish recipes, combining fermentation processes, hand-made methods and slow baked crafts to produce authentic, wholesome breads.
